TurboSFV v10.00 - Restyled outfit |
TurboSFV v10 comes in a complete new outfit: Modern colors and graphics are assembled into a set of new styles, which are available in the configuration. The configuration displays a preview of the selected style, so that the user can
easily navigate through the list and find the preferred one. Like a theme, the style will be applied to other modules with a graphical
interface.
The themes available up to version 9 had to go, because goal was not only to replace the colors, but also to renew controls, for example buttons. They are based on graphics and their colors are in line with the basic background colors.
Both, used colors and graphics build a style, which can be selected for the application. As a result, TurboSFV appears in new stylish outfits, replacing the legacy (and a bit outdated) look. For those, who prefer the Windows standard colors
and look, a non-styled variant is still
available.
TurboSFV now uses the per-monitor-v2 DPI awareness mode: Means, that the application handles DPI changes, for example resizing and scaling, based on the monitor, which is the primarily location. Otherwise the operating system would bitmap
stretch the application, which doesn't look nice, for example in case of a stretched font. On older Windows versions like 8.1 or 7, legacy DPI awareness modes are
used.
We really hope, that you like the new styles. If you want to add a comment regarding this new version, then this is the right place.
