TurboSFV v5.02 - Positioning of application window |
Notes to TurboSFV v5.02:
Along with other improvements, in this version I had a deeper look on the positioning of the main window with regards to other opened windows, if a new validation job has been added to the validation queue.
In the past, if you started TurboSFV by adding a validation job via the shell (by double-clicking on the hash file in the explorer or by using the context menu), then TurboSFV was automatically put into the foreground which means above all
other windows (called z-order). If you then added another job via the shell, the position in the z-order was not changed, which had the effect that the window was partly or fully invisible. Because this is not what a normal user would
expect, I've changed that behavior as
follows:
By adding a new job via the shell (and only then !),
- if TurboSFV was not started, then it's started and becomes the foreground window (as in the past).
- if TurboSFV is minimized to the taskbar, then the window is restored and put to the top of the z-order.
- if TurboSFV is sitting in the background, then it becomes the foreground window.
If you comments to the current version 5.02, then please make a post here.
Thank you!
