Notes to TurboSFV v9.51:
TurboSFV provides the option, to create checksum files folder or single-wise. If for example folder-wise, then for each folder a checksum file will be created, containing checksums for all files in the folder. Usually used for a set of
folders or for a folder tree, there is the option to specify the action, if a checksum file already
exists.
With the option overwrite, the checksum file will be overwritten with new hash values. If skip is specified, then an existing checksum file won't be touched. However, checksums for all files were calculated, but simply not considered in
this
case.
In this behavior, TurboSFV was improved: It now checks for the existence of checksum files before the calculation and if the option skip is specified, then it doesn't calculate checksums for the appropriate files. This can save a lot of
time, if for example only for new folders checksum files shall be
created.
