Notes to TurboSFV v8.30:
TurboSFV now supports the xxHash algorithm, in particular XXH32 and XXH64. xxHash is an open source project with the goal to design a speedy alternative to other non-cryptographic hash functions. It's not targeted for areas with special
requirements regarding the security of the
algorithm.
The new hash functions are available in the GUI as well as in the command-line versions and comparing to other hash algorithms, both are quite fast.
If you have some time, then please play with them and report your results (if possible including used hardware) here.
