TurboSFV v6.80 - Property sheet hash: Group hash functions
The hash functions on the Shell property sheet page Hash are now grouped: You can collapse or expand groups according to your needs. The group states are saved, if you close the window which displays the sheet, and reloaded if you open the sheet again. Collapsing and expanding groups is available since Vista.

To limit the number of groups to a reasonable number, the hash algorithms CRC-32, MD5 and SHA-1 are now placed in one group, while those from the SHA-2 and the SHA-3 family got their own group. Same applies to the menu structure of the TurboSFV main menu and the Explorer context menu, if grouping is enabled in the configuration.

Regarding the file associations dialog in Windows 10:

Microsoft urges software developers to use the available Windows dialog for setting user specific file associations instead of manipulating the registry. This is fine, because it's a Shell functionality (which application to open for a file type). In addition, the way this information is stored in the registry, is different in almost every Windows version.

Now in Windows 10, the file associations dialog is blocked from calling it directly from within an application. Instead, users get an ugly error message with a brief instruction how to find and to open the dialog manually.

However, we have found a way to bypass this error message, so that the dialog appears directly again in Windows 10. Let's see how long it takes that Microsoft closes this loophole. And the never-ending story regarding file extensions in Windows continues ...
