TurboSFV v6.50 - Checksum files for SHA-3 hash function
The new version of TurboSFV is capable to produce SHA-3 hash values, in particular SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384 and SHA3-512. The calculation of these hash values is in line with the new SHA-3 standard, as specified in FIPS 202.

SHA-3 hash values are saved in SHA-3 hash files, which use the new file extension .sh3, so that SHA-3 hash values are unrelated to those from the SHA-2 family, and to be prepared for additional modes in the future. Of course you can also calculate SHA-3 hash values on the fly by using the file property sheet. The included command line versions are ready as well for SHA-3.

The SHA-3 hash functions are based on the Keccak algorithm, which operates on 64-bit numbers. The 64-bit version (x64) of TurboSFV takes advantage of the advanced capabilities of a 64-bit CPU, which results into a much more better performance comparing to the 32-bit version. TurboSFV x64 needs a 64-bit operating system: If you are in touch with SHA-3 and still on 32-bit, then it's time to switch to a 64-bit OS.

Any comments to the new version can be posted here.
